The adjustment of the mechanism in a grand piano is called Regulation. Over time the wear and compression of felt & leather parts in the piano cause the many parts to come out of adjustment. The first thing you may notice when the piano needs regulation is an inability to play softly and an uneven feeling touch weight or depth. Give us a call and we would be happy to take a look at your piano.
